Stephen King's books are not recommended right before you sleep, I can assure you! But they are well written and not only the books, but also some of the movies are full of interesting mysteries waiting for you to solve. And once the mystery is exposed, his stories are no longer scary, but insightful.
The amount of knowledge King shows on his books and in the movie adaptations are only possible for people who are deeply involved in the occult and has access to hidden knowledge of secret societies. Make no mistake, none of these people are deserving of admiration and their 'art' should be only consumed for research purposes.
Stephen King has recurrent themes in his books which are worth mentioning. Most of his books show adults who are too oblivious or stupid to perceive evil things happening to the kids. Alcoholism, demons feeding of fear energy and bullies are also guaranteed topics.
The children universe and their interaction are a common inspiration for Stephen King. In his foreword for 'Lord of the Flies', he mentions how this book was important for him to read a story where ‘kids behaved like kids’. So it's easy to spot a similar style in Kings books.
What should we pay attention in Stephen Kings adaptations to the screen? Here are my favorites:
1) IT chapter I & II: The movie is fairly in line with the book, except (thankfully) the children gang sex and adultery that were skipped in the movies. Both the book and the movies are quite scary, but once you understand what's behind the story, it is almost an interesting class.
The movies show with symbolism the inversion of the magnetic field, or as JaydreamerZ calls it, the plasma apocalypse. If the idea is too crazy for you, remember that there is enough scientific evidence not only of Noah’s flood, but also several other cataclysms that reshaped the seas and the continents. The reason for the lack of historical register could be explained by the theory that when the magnetic fields change and plasma falls from the sky, our brain circuits basically reset and there is loss of memory, therefore mankind fails to transmit the information to the next generations. Even if most of this knowledge is lost, there is, according to JayDreamerZ, either a collective subconscious that makes movies show the eminent cyclical event, or the producers and movie studios have inside knowledge from fallen angels and give those hints in movies. I would be more inclined towards the later.
A great lesson for your life: Demons feed of the vibration of fear we produce and also other low vibration emotions such as anger, sadness and anxiety. This theme is recurrent in the movies and that is not a coincidence, for the arts belong to the dark forces.
2) The Shinning: The book is spectacular and the movie adaptation is one of my favorite terror movies ever! Stephen King would disagree with me though - he hated the adaptation from another weirdo, Stanley Kubrick and once I watched this video, I could understand why that was the case! The movie is absolutely not a faithful adaptation from the book at all. I will skip the movie because Stanley Kubrick deserves his own post, but the book has the fear feeding element, the 'shinning' which remotes to skills from ancient 'gods' bloodlines, who are basically the fallen angels.
3) Dr. Sleep: This movie is based on the book sequel showing Danny's life after the tragic winter in the mountain hotel. He still has 'the shinning' and communicates with a little girl who is fighting a gang of witches. The movie is a must watch.
Why you should pay attention to this movie: Dangerous cults of witches that suck on children's blood and life energy is not a scary fairy tale - the fairy tales are actually based on reality. Once more, they mention how fear makes the 'harvest' better for the witches. Protect your children!
4) In the tall grass: Interesting and claustrophobic movie. If you think this movie is about an evil grass, you're not even near!!
Why you should pay attention to this movie: Because the movie is full of symbols of what will happen soon and of what has happened many times before. If you want to know more, it's only a matter of how many cats you’re ready to let out of the bag.
5) Cell: A dystopian movie on how cell phone waves can mess with our minds and turn us into zombies. Make no mistake, this is as close to a possibility than you may think. This movie does not really have any symbolism, it’s all pretty much obvious. Curiously, Samuel L. Jackson starred in another movie where also mobile phones changed people's brains. Make sure you check out 'Kingsman - The Secret Service'.
6) The Dark Tower: The movie is kind of boring, but pay attention to the harvesting of children’s innocence. The Dark Tower could represent the 'Rupes Negra' (which JayDreamerZ explains well in his channel) and how the fallen angels in a separate dimension are waiting for the tower to give them the possibility to … not sure what from the movie, they never really explain what the tower is for, maybe I need to read the book.
The important thing to pay attention is the recurrent use of children’s vital energy. This theme is also present in Dr. Sleep and somehow IT. It shows also ‘the shinning’ - this supernatural ability that make these children special. What they have in reality is another substance that makes children very valuable for the dark forces, as they are innocent.
Protect your children!
